Picton Primary Care

"Kate Henderson has been our Trainee Associate Psychological Practitioner’s (TAPPs) clinical supervisor since 1st April 2023. The supervision that Kate has provided has been invaluable. The purpose of the supervision was to develop the growth of our TAPPs clinical skills in talking therapies. The outcome of receiving weekly supervision, both group and individual, has meant that our TAPPs have progressed far quicker than we initially thought and have been able to deliver the service to more patients than we initially planned.
Another critical aspect of the supervision Kate has provided is the support to the TAPPs in relation to their own wellbeing. Given the amount of sensitive, often traumatic information they hear from patients, Kate has provided hem a weekly platform to discuss, share and explore the impact it is having on them. As an organisation, Picton PCN could not recommend Kate more highly as a clinical supervisor, and we thank her for the clinical and wellbeing support she has provided our 3 TAPPs."
